About Us

At NHG Specialty, we don’t just sell insurance — we create long term risk strategies.

Our team is made up of construction professionals, risk advisors and compliance consultants who’ve lived the challenges you face. We bring you real-world experience and advice, not sales scripts.

We believe that the strength of our firm lies in the depth of our people — their backgrounds, their expertise, and their commitment to helping clients navigate risk with confidence.

Brandon Beane

Founder & President

Brandon Beane is a founding partner of NHG Specialty and a nationally recognized leader in construction risk management. His career has been dedicated exclusively to this field, and he has played a pivotal role in the success of some of the industry’s most influential companies. Brandon has overseen insurance coverage for billions of dollars in construction annually, working with a diverse range of clients — from large general contractors and international developers to major public entities.

Brandon’s expertise spans all facets of risk management, including Subcontractor Default Insurance, Wrap-Ups, Claims, Captive insurance programs, Subcontractor Prequalification, and Loss Prevention. His ability to integrate risk strategy with core construction disciplines — such as Safety, Operations, Preconstruction, Finance, Quality Control, and Legal — gives NHG Specialty a uniquely comprehensive perspective.

Since 2014, Brandon has served as Chief Risk Officer at one of Florida’s largest general contractors. Prior to that, he co-founded Beane & Bennett Construction Risk Specialists (BBCRS), a brokerage dedicated exclusively to the construction industry. Earlier in his career, Brandon held leadership roles at Aon Construction Services Group and began his journey in Boston with Marsh and Centex Construction Group, gaining hands-on experience managing CCIPs and wrap-up programs.

Brandon is the former President of the South Florida Chapter of The Associated General Contractors of America, where he served the industry with distinction. He is a sought-after speaker at national industry events, including the ENR Risk Summit, AGC Risk & Surety Meetings, IRMI, CLM, Marcum, and the AGC National Conference.

Outside of work, Brandon is a passionate fan of 90’s hip hop — with the Wu-Tang Clan topping his list of favorite groups. His love for music reflects the same energy and authenticity he brings to his work and leadership.
